Decided to spray adhesive (repositionable and material backing friendly) to mount a diamond painting to a wooden board. Directions were easy to follow. Sprayed both the material background and board and let set 30 seconds before bonding the two surfaces. Even though "repositioning" is an option for a minute, it was not necessary. Used mod podge to seal the diamond painting after being mounted, and the entire painting remained intact with no bubbling up during brushing the mod podge on, or after it dried. Strong enough to hold the painting up vertical. HUGE can, so will have enough for multiple paintings. Won't need to get any plexi-glass to cover future art. Turned can upside down to spray out excess in prep for next job.
Goes on clear turns white as it tracks up and comes out like hair spray hard to see where it is sprayed. I tried it for gluing speaker box carpet and it has to be super heavy applied. End result was sub par vs other spray glue and to top it off the nozzle clogged before it finished. I used the can in 1 go so it isnt like it dried... had to soak it to finish the fan off...
I have a 4in. memory foam mattress topper that ripped down the middle. After following the directions precisely for memory foam, I had no luck.
After first applying the glue, it was very sticky, changed the color of the foam, but seemed to work gluing it back together. But after three days of sleeping on it again, it split apart in the same place and is crusty at the split. What a bummer!
I purchased this because 3M was out of stock. It is more expensive, ran out faster, and does not stick well. Overall a VERY poor product and will not be buying any more gorilla glue products. THANK YOU!
When received it appeared to have been through an experience, there was dried glue on the outside of the can. When I tried to use it, it sputtered clumps of glue and the valve clogged. I still have a pretty full can that won't spray. I did go to my local hardware and buy the same exact can and it worked fine. I am guessing the can i got from Amazon was possibly frozen or old. Amazon won't let me return it. I am out $10
I was searching for 3m 77 spray adhesive. Amazon once again displayed items supposed to be equal to what I searched. This stuff will not adhere paper to painters tape. The 3M 77 does. (Adhesion) The Gorilla adhesive instructions don't work, unless you spray both pieces. Not easy to use. I did not buy contact cement!
THis is hands down the WORST spray adhesive I’ve ever tried. It wouldn’t even hold two very thin pieces of crepe paper together. You have to basically saturate the paper to get any hold at all, and when I did that, it distorted the color of my paper and now it’s trash. I wouldnt even consider this glue. Terrible product. Don’t waste your money. Spend a little extra and go with 3M.
