I thought I would have to replace the entire cistern or at the very least the flush valve, but this kit facilitated a fix to the existing valve which was leaking slowly and causing the inlet valve to trigger every 10 or 15 minutes and refill the cistern.
The only difficulty you are likely to encounter is in gaining access to the flush valve, which for me was in a concealed cistern setup, but extracting the valve was much simpler than I had expected and once it's out, replacing the two seals is easy. There was even a little diagram with the kit to show you which way up each seal goes. Satisfied customer.
