I’m very disappointed I ordered this color online because it’s my favorite and I wanted a large bottle. I got it today and the color in the bottle is extremely different than my original bottle. I’m highly disappointed. I’ve included a picture, which I’ve labeled so you can see the difference.
Ordered a glittery pink gel polish called June Bride. Bottle says June Bride. But it is NOT June Bride. It’s not even close to being any shade of pink in any color wheel EVER. It’s brown. Or gold or whatever. It’s glittery. Lots of glitter. But not pink AT ALL. I should have known not to order this brand after the first polish I bought from them changed from pink to coral a week after my pedicure. Do NOT buy from these people on Amazon.
I question the authenticity. The label on the bottle is crooked, there is no window on the front where the color shows through, just a white circle that's part of the label, the polish is thick and a bit slimy(?) in viscosity with a strange scent and where my last bottle (different seller) takes three thin coats to opacity, this one literally only takes one because it's thicker and hard to get nice thin layers. I won't be using it in clients but it works for practice nail art which is still a pro because I can then get those fine quicker, but I'll find another seller for a client bottle.
Product does not look like all the other gelish bottles, the brush is big like a size 14 nail brush and it’s bristles are bent all over. The polish is thick consistency but not solid color. The brush is even too big to polish several of my smaller finger nails. And to top it off the polish dries like lumpy paint it’s bumpy. It does not last I did mine last night and today I swam for maybe an hour or less and it’s already lifting and peeling off.
I opened this nail gel and smelled it and immediately knew it was fake. Smelled of harsh acetone like cheap nail polish. Applied a small coat to a nail to give it a chance, cured it, then wiped nail plate with cleansing alcohol. It didn’t fully dry and started coming off with the cotton pad. Cured it once more and it didn’t do anything. I scraped it off with hardly any effort. Very disappointed with this product. Spent $15 for something I could’ve bought at the store for $2.
This is a rip off gelish nail polish. I have dozens of colors that I've bought from Sally's, and haven't had an issue yet until I purchased this through Amazon. This polish goes on too thick. Does not cure under the UV light. It's just a hot mess. I ended up going to Sally's, and purchasing this "same" color in the actual store. Yeah - 2 different "Black Shadows". I ended up throwing the one that I purchased from Amazon in the trash.
Pretty color, went on smooth, but wasn’t as high quality as I expected. You can see on my ring finger, it seemed to wrinkle up a little as it was drying. I had to redo one finger completely because of how bad the wrinkling was. I used thin layers (maybe not thin enough??) and I set it twice as long in my LED UV lamp.
