Would highly recommend!
First off, it comes folded flat. You have to insert the sides (the short sides) into it to "construct" it. Because of this you can see what material the outer shell is made of, which is pretty weak. Its really thin, overly flexible material that bows out and deforms when carried or theres items in the side pockets. Perhaps a thicker more rigid material would allow it to maintain shape.
Secondly, the center divider runs the width of the bag, held in place with velcro at the outsides. For one, the center divider is TOO LONG for the width, so when its in place the divider is bowed into one half of the compartment. Straightening it results in the short sides bowing out (see above). As well, there is no velcro at the bottom edge of the divider, and as the bottom is as flexible as the rest, it doesn't seal anything between the two sides, items will just slide across under the divider no matter how low you place it while its flat on a surface. This could have been alleviated by velcro applied to all 3 sides of the divider . This would also keep it straight.
Lastly, there is a quick release buckle under the lid, I can honestly say I have no idea what its purpose is, aside from ALWAYS getting in the way when I go to zip it closed. Its the same size as the shoulder strap buckle, but I can't think of a reason there would be any reason to attach one side of the shoulder strap to this?
Now, what you’re about to read will be the strangest thing you’ve heard in a review but...the bag even smells great! It’s my new favorite air freshener for the truck :)
1. Good amount of pockets, I especially use the ones inside the flap and the ones on each side are quick to access.
2. Zippers so far holding up well- worth the money here
3. Heavy duty, I always have this bag loaded pretty full. It is holding up very well
