- tapping the power button dims the screen
- Plug and play so not worried about people hacking into the camera
- Intuitive menu made it easy to figure out most things without the guide
- Feels well made and durable
- Works pretty well without much light
I bought for a friend who is expecting, and decided to test it out before gifting it. Both the tablet and camera feel well made and durable. Size is good and screen seems decent enough.
I’ve heard about home cameras being hacked which is why I went with this offline version, but I was still impressed with how quickly it connected. The video feed instantly showed up on the screen when turned on, no syncing required.
The button and menu layout is pretty intuitive and I figured out the majority of features without looking at the manual. The tap power button to quickly dim the screen is a great feature! I was also pretty impressed with the music sound quality from the camera - I didn’t expect it to be useful but it actually sounds pretty good considering the size of the camera.
Video quality is good so long as you don’t expect 4K resolution lol. It’s easy enough to see what’s going on, it works surprisingly well in complete darkness. I think having a night light in the room would be the best setup though. The camera has high sensitivity for sound, and adjusting the level for what to pick up what easy.
Overall I’m very happy with the purchase, but if I get any feedback from my buddy I’ll add it in here!
