My dogs (I have five ranging from small to giant) get a steady diet of Science Diet dry food (various types for variety) plus a daily does of these canned foods. I buy several cases of wet food for them, and randomly grab one each time to share amongst the dogs. Of all the cans of Science Diet we go through, their unanimous favorite is this Savory Stew with Beef, and opening the can you see a nice selection of chunks of beef and an assortment of veggies, along with a nice sauce that soaks into the dry food I put the canned food on. This stuff disappears in record time (whereas some, like the salmon, don't see to be as popular). It smells good, and looks better than many of the canned stews I eat. And based on the ingredient list, it is a lot healthier, too! If it was up to my dogs, I suspect they would eat this Savory Stew daily. They love it!
I feed my dogs a can or two of Science Diet wet dog food every day, coupled with a supply of dried food always available. They seem to really like this Chicken & Barley, and always clean their bowls. I alternate several Science Diet wet foods to give them variety (whether they appreciate it or not I can't say!), and while they haven't turned their noses up at any of the flavors, they do seem to have a preference. My wolfhound likes the Chicken & Barley more than some of the others, I think. I have these on monthly reorder so there's always a supply. I particularly like the ingredient list, or more precisely, the lack of filler and additives.
Unfortunately I had high hopes that my dog would eat this. Being 14 she is missing teeth so the chunks that came with this were too large and I had to cut them before feeding it to her. Then she stopped eating it altogether the next day. Clearly she was not a fan. Good price for that many cans tho.
This food is terrible and smells rotten my dog ate very little of it and within half an hour was throwing up. I had tried the small cans of chicken stew before and the first batch was great and he loved it so I purchased a second flat of 24 tins and that whole batch was totally rotten. I thought that was a fluke but this new batch is also rotten. My dog looks and is acting very ill I hope he is going to be ok.
