First of all, I'd like to point out the fact that these particular cat food is wrong on so many levels.
#1. The size of kibbles is enormous comparing to all other cat foods that's available in the market.
#2. The kibble is hard as a rock .
#3. The shape is triangular.
Now try to imagine how a cat can eat such an enormous rock hard that is triangular in shape..? For the life of me - not only me getting disappointed and frustrated but my cat absolutely hates it. He tried to eat but he couldn't even get to chew even one bit. Since it is triangular shaped it gets stuck in between the teeth.
Just so the food doesn't go to waste I am using mortar and pestle to crush the kibbles into bite size.
When I say rock hard , believe me. I know it while crushing it. There is no way on earth a normal cat can chew it.
I feel this food is made for a robotic cat! 🙄
I am uploading pics for comparison.
The lighter shade is Hill's Science and the darker shade is Whiskas.
See the difference of shapes and sizes.
I have to admit, I had very low expectations for this food, but the ingredients are amazing and I was desperate. It went well beyond what I expected and the rating is a very easy five stars.
The only downfall is the price. My cats aren't big on leftover food, so I have to buy the small cans and it ends up costing quite a bit more. I may actually have to budget for it, but if it helps my boys, it's totally worth it.
My male is prone to interstitial cystitis- he develops small urinary stones quite often but is much better since switching to this food two years ago.
