This is a super cute tankini. The top rests slightly over the bottoms. I bought the Large knowing that swim suits run small (my 8yr old daughter wears a size 8). The top fits perfect (like you would expect an 8 to fit) but the bottoms were huge on her. They fit like a true large. I am going to order bottoms because we like the suit so much.
