It Does Not Work With or Without a Phone

I have purchased car cell phone holders in the past, none have been as bad as this one. It does not work at all. Unless the CD player in my 2010 Silverado LTZ is different than other CD players in other vehicles, this product does not work AT ALL! You are suppose to put it in your vehicles CD slot, push the lever and, it is suppose to wedge itself (I assume) into the slot to hold it in place. Unless I am doing something wrong it wont even stay in the CD slot without a phone let alone with one! I tried it with a CD installed in the player and, it still does not work! I give it one star because I do not believe the system will allow a ZERO!!!

I didn't want the windshield mounted holder because it obstructs my view. Those same mounts won't work on my dash area because they are grainy &/or not flat. The vent mounts obstruct the air flow. This CD mount is perfect. The air flow is great, I can reach all of the controls in the area & it is at a great position to look at the phone & to hear & be heard over the phone.

I love this car charger and it’s a lot better than the other ones I have tried. I mainly use it in the air vent and when I drive past potholes/bad roads, it holds the phone fairly well and doesn’t move much. The only thing I dislike is the auto open/close will only work with the cable plugged in. And if I don’t want to charge my phone but still need my phone mounted, I would have to forcefully open the clasps which in return breaks the clasps. Other than that, it is very useful and easy to use

I love that it holds the phone tight and swivels so you can see direction on WAZE easy. I installed in my 2010 RAV4 and because the CD slot has a curved space in the middle it does not latch tight. It does not fall off often but a little precarious when you are driving navigating and it falls to the floor!

This is the most functional phone holder I have tried. Unfortunately the arm that connects the cd slot part to the holder snapped. I’ve only used it 10 or so times. I’d be interested to try again but it is no longer available.
