Five stars since it's a beautiful dress, but I'm taking off three for false advertising.

The sizes are not a sliding scale. The dress I ordered was for 12-18 months of age, the dress I got was 18months. Techically the dress can be put on children between 12-18 months old, but they will swim in it. My daughter is 13 months old, 12 month clothing on her is a be it snug since she is in the 60%, but I wouldn't have purchased a 18month size dress and expected her to fit in it. When something is advertised as a sliding scale, I expected it to be a little big, but not this. Unfortunately I didn't not see the tag until I had cut the barb off the hanger, so I am not sure I am going to be able to return it.

I ordered this to be my baby's first Easter dress. Part of my reason for picking it was because it was an outfit complete with shoes. The dress fits a little loosely because it's 0-3m and she's 2 months (totally okay, I expected this). What isn't okay is the fact that the shoes are more than twice the size of her feet. Not only do they not stay on, they don't look right because they make her feet look proportionately too big compared to the rest of her body. I simply can't use them until she gets much bigger and that's going to be months past Easter. I am so incredibly disappointed...

It seemed to fit with not a lot of room for an 8 month old. So I thought we would get one wear out of it. Worth it for the pricem. However, i washed it before letting the baby wear it. It shrank on a cold gentle wash cycle. Bummer, it is really cute. I will donate.

Cute dress. Bought for a doll. Even though it was washed in cold and dried on low heat, it shrunk to half it’s size, but since it was washed it probably cannot be exchanged.
