At first I was a little confused to which Hub to get. There are many Hubs on the market and the prices are different too. I am so glad that I have chosen this 8-1 Hub.
This is an amazing product , the time I opened the package I was impressed with quality of the finish and also it does't feel like one of the chap and light hubs.
There are various ports for your need, specially if you are moving to this new type C laptop this one device will work almost like having a personal Docking station without carrying the actual Docking station.
This device response so quick as soon you connect to the usb C and its ready to use.

I bought this to used as a hub and power a USB C monitor for a laptop. I appreciate it likely wouldn't be able to run HDMI / LAN / USB type A and C all at once. But it is not able to even power the portable monitor. Probably avoid if thats what you are trying to do.
