They fit well - shorter length makes them easy to get on/off. Have been quite warm enough so far - cold & wet December - even with only thin socks on.
The crossway ridges on the sole took me a few days to get used to but I am quite happy with that now.
Good buy - competitive price with other high-end wellies. Would recommend.
Such a shame as my original hunter boots I’d had for years and they’d been out in all weathers before they finally gave up, but I’ll think twice about buying again due to the quality of this pair.
Unfortunately when they arrived the lovely presentation box they come in was completely destroyed. The end was hanging off, it looked like it had been kicked around the warehouse as a football!
I wanted to give my sister the whole hunter package including the box....it sounds silly but i was very upset.
i contacted cloggs the sellers and they said i could either have a partial refund or a replacement 'tall boot box'.
well if i gave my sister a tall boot box i would feel bad as her expectations would be higher and i would feel really bad that i could only afford the short ones.
I intend on speaking with hunter themselves before i make a decision on new but wrong size box or partial refund
Why have I kept them? My last boots had been worn down to holes and the rain had just arrived - I needed a boot for walking my dog, so the timing was right. But, I will be replacing them very soon; basically, a waste of money.
If you are a bloke (or a lady) looking for a functional boot avert your eyes; these are not for you.
As for the supplier, delivered promptly and a reasonable price too.
I normally do not buy anyting which I wear which advertises the name of the producer but Hunter boots do have a
certain name and look. They are expensive and because of that should be good. I went for a size 7 - my natural size being 61/2 which is always difficult to accomodate and wellington boots do not
come in half sizes. The length of the boot is fine, the foot fit narrow but OK with thickish socks but would be tight with proper wellington boot socks. The boot is very shaped and I need to use a boot
jack to remove which is not easy and to put it on takes a little effort. Love the colour brown and there is a wide range.
How long they last for the price, we'll have to see, early days, have only worn 4/5 times. Delivery service and packaging with this seller was very good and prompt.
