Ever wonder what Will Shakespeares life was like before he was known as the Bard? Before the queen took notice of him? Before the Globe Theatre? Step back in time and into the Arden Woods about Avon. Find out what transformed the life of a petty schoolmaster into a writer of enduring vision.
In an instant this young son of a glover had his life ripped from him by the king of those that live under the hill, the King of Elves. Can this mortal overturn the will and power of the ruler of an immortal realm? He must, or face the loss of his love and his life.

Loved The English Folklore

Turns out that Shakespeare's work was influenced by his real life experiences. His wife and child have been kidnapped by a evil king and a young Will must join up with the kings brother to save his family. Love Sarah's world here. Plus She has written more with Will and this kingdom.

Boring Reading About the Depth of Characters' Mistaken Assumptions
Reviewed in the United States on 20 June 2015Verified Purchase
Will finish the series because that's what I do, but the big problem is that the author spends a lot of time on what the characters are thinking and worrying about situations they are imaging when the reader knows that they are irrelevant because something else is going on. The problem is not that they have the wrong idea, but that it is hard to care about all their thoughts regarding irrelevant speculation. What they do because of their misunderstanding is interesting, but to often they don't do anything but worry about it and, really, who cares?

Shakespeare, Author, and Fantasy fans will love

The book sets the stage on where and how Shakespeare got most of his stories and lines. from. Warning if you don't like famous Bard's lines coming out of no where, you will not like this book. The next is a rant.
I did buy this book twice. Once in a bundle from another vendor and once from Amazon when it was on sale. Grr. I wish Amazon would allow all mobi formats go into the books folder.

A wild and entertaining speculation on how Shakespeare came up with such inspired work.

Really interesting take on William Shakespeare and his chance encounter with the world of the elves. But I love Shakespeare. And I love elves. It was a natural fit for me.
