I have to admit I really enjoyed this book, but it is no literary masterpiece, just a bit of good old escapism. It's not a patch on the Jack Reacher or Joe Hunter stories, but I have started on the second in the series and enjoying that also. If you like something a bit far fetched, a bit of a whodoneit, a bit of brut force and just fast paced high energy adventure with lots of dead bodies through shootings and beatings you'll probably enjoy this to.
Just realised this review is for imprisoned, the second book in the series, but the sentiment of my review remains unchanged.
I thought this was generally a better book that the first in the series.(which was a bit disconnected from the reader somehow in places). As well as connecting with the reader better, there is more action in this one - if you want wall to wall action then I don't think I've read any thriller with more fist and gun fights in it that this one and it doesn't feel forced - just necessary given the situation.
All in all this series is starting to show promise after a little bit of a shaky start.
