Bigger than I expected, almost like it's already stretched out. I expected a taught fit in my 2010 Subaru Forester but no such luck, regardless of how I try to use it. Maybe there's a way to make it more taught that I'm not seeing. It'll function well enough, but I'm definitely a little disappointed.
But to help keep my dog from jumping in the front seat she's very crafty on getting through the smaller ones that just block that little bit of the in between the seats even though I do have a small car POTUS to try to keep her out and so far as there's no way she can get all the way around it by the second one to keep things from sliding around the trunk and that's working okay but it stretches a little bit more than I would like but I would buy again if I needed to
My best advice for you is to look at the measurements and see if that fits your trunk. Also look in your trunk to see where you can place the hooks to hold the netting. It comes with 3 options to hold the netting- small carabineer clips (you may need to get larger ones), plastic hooks that hold up surprisingly well and can fit in small hole, and a plastic bolt with a plastic clip that can be placed where an existing screw is. The idea is to have the netting folded like a hammock where you can hook the top of each side either together on the same hook or 2 hooks close together and at the same height. I have a Toyota Tundra limited and this netting is not wide enough, but I also have an old Ford Ranger and the netting fit that truck better. This netting also works in my compact Infiniti car. This is a great way to be organized and prevent items from sliding all the way back in the truck bed.
I wanted to love this product. Installed easily with provided hardware in our RV, providing so much more space in the cupboards. On our first trip after installation one of the rubber cords broke right in the middle, sending every thing to the floor. Maybe it’s my fault, maybe it was overloaded. I don’t know. Now I have it tied with a knot.. hope that works for the homeward trek, but I am returning it.
The actual net portion of this item is well assembled but the shock cord (the elastic cord that frames the net) is WAY too elastic. So elastic, in fact, that it is functionally useless in holding the net in place so even the slightest of forces can deform or displace the net, which absolutely defeats the purpose. The included hardware for bed mounting is a nice thought, but is a poor pairing for such a low utility item. The carabiner clips that come with it are a joke. 2 of mine broke just opening them. I'd look somewhere else and pay more if I had to do over again. As it is, this one is in the scrap heap.
Basically writing this review to let people know it does NOT come with the carabiners it shows. Otherwise, it seems fine but I bought it so I wouldn’t have to make an extra purchase to clip it on since I knew that’s what I needed. Annoying.
I purchased this for a road trip I went on and I wanted to hold everything down in the back of my SUV. This came with more hookup options than needed and it worked well while I needed it. Towards the end of my trip the net did start coming apart which made it harder to use but I still was able to connect it. I really liked this while it worked but I can't say it lasted as long as I would have hoped. I think for the price it worked well and served it's purpose for me.
As noted, this is the perfect size for a Honda HR-V. You an hook it on the floor hooks closest to the hatch and the ones closest to the rear seats to trap things against the floor or you can hook it on the back seat latches if it is taller. We also use them as a hammock on the rear seat latches to carry small things we don't want rolling around that aren't as easy to trap, like apples, oranges, bottles of water.
This net is working just fine in my BMW X3 for over 2 years -- The corner elastic cording was folded (down and back) to give the correct length in My cargo area. The snap hooks are not great quality but adequate for the job. I mostly just stuff my cargo under the net and it keeps most item secure as I round the corners on my way home. I don't think I would use this net with a roof rack but inside of a trunk or the rear of an SUV it works just fine.
