STRONG COMPATIBILITY: Two screw adapters (1/4" to 3/8" adapter and 3/8" to 5/8" adapter) included in the kit. I use this to hold up a cheap webcam that serves as a document camera. It works great! It stays in position nicely (it doesn’t start dropping, for example), and it’s very sturdy. The only modification I made was to stick a little felt pad on the adjustable clamp so it wouldn’t slide around. I didn’t try it without the mod, so I’m not actually sure that it would slide…
I chose this over a goose neck-type model because I didn’t want to deal with drooping or shifting after I’d put it I place. The price is also really great.

I think I've tried every kind of budget mic holder on the market and all had droopage problems (the mic or camera would very slowly creep downwards). The simple design change of having a larger bracket to raise the middle spring upwards does the trick (and makes mechanical sense). The only thing that I can think of to be an improvement for camera use would be to have a side to side tilt of the screw assembly at the end (though, these can be purchased anywhere, it would be nice to see). I appreciate the use of a metal mounting base. Good deal for sure.

I had been searching for a webcam for a while (because of Covid-19, of course) but held off buying one, since they were costing $80 or much more. I found this online for a very reasonable price but was a little nervous as to whether it would work well because it was so much cheaper than others being sold. When we hooked it up, which was as easy as plugging in the USB cord, I was incredibly surprised at the picture quality. It was outstanding. The microphone doesn't capture our voices as well as I would have expected (which may be us, since we haven't fooled around with the computer control). Also, the sound may be just right, but this is the first webcam I've purchased, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The camera sits on the monitor, which can be prone to falling off if the monitor his shaken, but a little velcro solved the problem. I am a very satisfied customer.

The stand is pretty good at first but after using it a few days there are some problems I noticed. The stand cannot go down as far as I expect. The lower bar stops at a fairly high spot. Which means it's nearly impossible to take pictures or videos horizontally. Second the head that hold the camera does not turn 360 degrees. It only goes up and down and not left or right which limits a lot of the angles while shooting. You will have to buy the part separately. After all for the price like this the stand still worth the value.
