I was absolutely disappointed with this purchase as story was not exciting at all nor the pop-up feature inside the book.
My toddler was not interested in the book as it wasn't as exciting as other books from same author.

Great book. My daughter (20 months) loved this. She knows what animal is coming next, makes their noise, but can’t wait to get to the lion at the end so we can pretend to get our fingers bitten, give him a tickle or a hug. The lion is a very impressively designed and sturdy pop up. It has survived a daily read since Christmas without any tearing.
She did get a fright by the lion popping out off the page on the first few reads. But loves it now.

My toddler loves this book! There are no flaps until the last page but each page has a pictorial clue to look out for as to which animal is coming up on the next page. The lion page which pops out is great and very sturdy! Ours has stood up to being pretend fed food and the book snapped shut on little fingers to 'bite' them many times.
