I use it for travelling distances on the buses and I keep woolens in there, small electronic gadgets, food, drink, maps. The ad did not mention inner pockets, nor did it have any - I took it for granted. Of concern however was that it looked to me the seams looked a bit see through.
I am reviewing the galaxy print jansport. I’m not sure how I feel about this bag. It does have plenty of room, but it doesn’t feel like an authentic Jansport. There is only one pocket on the outside and no mesh side pockets which I usually like for water bottles. The material is kind of crinkly sounding vs the usual fabric feel. However, it does feel sturdy enough to hold up and the zipper works well. I’m not sure it’s worth the cost as the other jansports I own are far nicer than this. I’m not sure I would recommend for the price. Maybe worth about $25 not $45
First off its not a bad book bag. Its not thick so it's light weight, but also makes it lack in the durability. This bag so far IS holding up so I can't say its complete junk but for 30 bucks I could have gotten the same bag at walmart plus a lunch box for half the price. I bought this brand because I remember jansport being a pretty good brand. I'm not so sure they make things quite as good as they were 15 years ago. I'm sure this bag will last the school year but might not last my boy 2 years like I was hoping when buying a more expensive back pack.
have had it for only 1 month and its for a 1st grader I only put an outfit, water bottle, mask, folder and snack inside so I can't really speak on durability. It is really roomy deff big enough for an adult not just a young kid. My only complaint so far is there is no water bottle holder, hopefully their won't be hybrid learning this year because they don't allow water bottles in the backpack with the chrome book. I'll update if any issues arise with this backpack
I was surprised at how thin and flimsy this backpack is, considering I've always been a fan of JanSport. The blue and black space colors aren't very compelling and the design is not attractive. I don't feel like this is going to make it a full year without ripping in some place. My daughter (age 9) was really excited to pick this out, but was less than excited when it came. I was disappointed too. I also wish it had another pocket - the inside is a huge cavernous black hole. We'll use it until it falls apart, and then go back to a more trusted brand like Lands End.
When it arrived, it was pretty clear that it was not a legit Jansport backpack, contrary to what the website details and description provided. Very thin straps, no padding, no outside pockets, even the logo tags were poorly done. Compared to the real Jansport I already own, it seems cheap and counterfeit. Currently in the return process.
Admittedly, I bought this in a bit of a rush when I realized my 2d grader would be going back to in-person school. It is definitely not the quality I would expect from Jansport, but i should have realized that based on the price. The styling is cute but the fabric is rough to the touch and doesn't seem very durable. Still, it's fine for his needs with one glaring exception: no side pocket for his water bottle. These are so ubiquitous on backpacks these days, that it's really a glaring omission. I didn't realize this until he had used it a few times, so I didn't feel i could return it at that point, and he needed a backpack. He has to carry his water bottle separately every day, which annoys me, but he seems fine with it. I guess it's just very low end for Jansport, so I would recommend paying a little more for better features.
Life has been so busy so I forgot to review or contact the seller (totally my bad). This is out of the norm for Jansport. After a week of having the backpack, a zipper broke and was completely unfixable. The more we tried to fix it, the worse it got and the backpack is completely unusable.
The material is awesome, of course because its Jansport. The pattern is beautiful. The zipper on this one just malfunctioned. So disappointing for a Jansport. My sons we ordered is perfect and still in great condition.
