It will work like a dream for five or six cores in a multi core, then all of a sudden it throws a wobbly and makes absolute mince meat out of both insulation and copper conductor (solid or stranded).
It's not getting clogged/blocked up, it just decides not to be a stripping tool anymore.
Then after you've pulled your hair out and you decide to give it another shot, it works perfectly again for another 10 cores before it decides to s##t itself again.
Not worth half its price!!! Honestly.
After using this tool for quite some time now I've come to realise it is perfect for PVC insulation, it isn't made to strip XLPE/LSF insulation. (Which would be more common in my type of work)
If you need one for XLPE the 20050/20100 model is the one to get.
If not and it's only PVC you work with then this one is perfect.
PS, 20050/20100 model will confidently strip all above types.
