After years of working on my feet all day in a large big-box store, on concrete floors, I developed plantar fasciitis. This is when my search for comfortable, light, and cool work shoes started.... and it brought me to KEEN Utility Men's Atlanta. I am super happy with them, and highly recommend them!
PROS: 1. COOL (very important when you are on your feet all day in Australian heat) 2. COMFORT - I bought the KEEN Utility K-30 high-arch insole, and (together with OOFOS recovery shoes worn at home), I attribute this to my plantar fasciitis going away! 3. TRACTION - super grippy
CONS: 1. FIT - Run full size too large. Go one size down, unless you plan to wear thickest socks (which defeats the purpose of cool shoes) 2. LACES - these will wear within 6-10 months
I've been buying this shoe again and again, I even go running and biking in them after work. Wear them summer and winter, very comfortable, I've tried other safety shoes (same brand and also Sketchers ugh) and they don't even come close in terms of comfort. Only negative is that they are not CSA approved - but I get the protection without the ugly logo. Steel toes not required at my work, just wear it for that extra safety.
4.0 out of 5 starsASTM not CSA, ask your local WorkSafe if they're allowed, steel toe shoes aren't required as much.

My sketchers medium width fit perfect and these fit slightly tighter, the heel is built in too many overlapping layers so you can feel it, if your boss requires you to have CSA approved you might have to return them but maybe not because a lot of the rules changed I read that WorkSafeBC allows ASTM shoes which these are but could not find it in writing for my province and didn't bother calling my province worksafe and just returned them and got CSA Keen shoes
Used at work and so far I love it. Zero pain or discomfort in my feet. I'm standing and walking 10hours at work everyday and for the first time I came home without my feet hurting. I hope they last cuz the wide fit was perfect for me.
