To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I work in a clean room and all I do is walk the fab from time to time and the sole of the shoe started peeling off. This is after only two and a half months of use. Terrible quality. When I tried to contact Amazon, they refused to do anything about it because it is past their 30 day return period. Last time I purchase KEEN and last time I get shoes from Amazon.
Good shoe generally, but the lace holes (it’s like folded over material loophole instead of a hole punched in the leather) are wimpy and many of them broke. Also had to replace shoe laces (one broke) after abt 7 months.
Seems like a good quality, sturdy shoe but even with a 2E my pinky toes press against the steel toe. The size is good so I'm afraid if I go a half size bigger they'll be too loose. I wish they didnt hurt my toes because I really like everything else about them. Too bad they're going back.
I wear these while on my feet for 10-15 hours a day (sometimes more), usually standing or walking on concrete or other, similar surfaces. The only thing I've found that's more comfortable is a pair of running shoes. My heel pain is minimized or non-existent. These have excellent grip and non-slip capabilities. Best of all, no laces to tie! As far as steel-toes go, for me these are fantastic. I chose this particular model due to color options; I needed them as black as possible. Had other styles been offered in black, I may have chosen them over these, but feel I'd experience the same satisfaction regardless of the model. Also, do yourself a favor and look at the manufacturer's website for sizing. I measured both of my feet, but used Amazon's sizing guide and tried to give myself a 1/4" of extra space, but ended up with a tad more than that due to sizing differences between Amazon and Keen (which I didn't realize until after submitting my order). The difference wasn't enough to warrant sending them back, but I think I'd also like to try a pair a half-size smaller just to see if they'd fit even better. Lastly, I ordered a wide 2E and they're perfect there, too. I don't feel like my foot is being strangled and it's even better in a steel-toe.
No cons to report after 3 weeks and over 150 hours in them.
Not a big fan of ordering shoes online without the benefit of trying them on first. Past reviews helped, so I took a chance and got these. They are comfortable, not as light as I thought they would be but comparable to my old work boots, so not complaining. They seem to be well made, so we will see how they hold up after a few months.
Very comfortable!!! Went with my reg size for 95% of the time and could have gone a half size down. The shoes feel great and have enough adjustments to fit. Actually makes it nice and easy to get into the shoe, but if I had to run the shoe is not the right size.
