Bought these knives after reading a lot of good reviews even though I was leery about buying knives so cheap.
I've tried using them multiple times and yes as others have stated the blades cut nicely. I have already mentioned when first opening the package the handles of the knives were so rough getting splinters could easily be a problem. Now for some reason the handles, especially where the rivets are situated are leaking a strange sticky substance which does not go away even when hand washing the knives. I've now wrapped the knives up and put them in the charity box for our local church's thrift store with an included warning note about the strange sticky substance problem with the handles.
Although the blades cut well, I personally would not recommend the knives simply because there's no way of knowing what the sticky stuff leaking from the handle and rivets might be.

Excellent Value

Came next day, both had a small burr but once I ran them over sharpening steel a few times they where surprisingly sharp (have thin blades). Non serrated so they will be easy to keep that way. They are very light, have narrow handles and some flex to the blade. Not full tang, stops just past second pin but you can’t go wrong for the price, better than much more expensive knives. For $16 these are a no brainer. Have been using these for almost a month and they have become my go to, they out perform much more expensive knives and have stayed very sharp with very little care.

Good knives.

My daughter works in a restaurant that uses these knives. She is the one that told me to buy them. Great knives for the price!! Very, very sharp!! The four star rating is because of the wood handle, not the best quality so I try not to leave them sitting in the kitchen sink for long. In saying that though I would purchase again, great value for the price!!

GOOD VALUE FOR SMALL KNIVES
Reviewed in Canada on 15 December 2020Size Name: (Limited Edition)Verified Purchase
This Kiwi knife set was shipped directly from Thailand, so it took a month; but it arrived 2 days before deadline date. It was packed tight and safe for postal shipping.
They are small, light weight, but the tang does not extended all the way to the butt of the handle. However, they are extremely sharp and practical as an everyday vegetable or fruit prep knives. Also good for trimming raw meat. The handles seem to be made of bamboo. Idea for camping because of their size and weight.
Another chef recommended this product and they are good value for what they are. I have many knives and these are welcome in my kitchen. Wash by hand.
