Lots of fun songs, easy to play
Reviewed in Germany on 6 January 2020Verified Purchase
Having bought several of the authors’ other kalimba books I was keen to get my hands on new songs to play on this fascinating little instrument. Although I don’t know all the songs in this book, there are quite enough classics to keep me playing for quite some time. Btw. I like that handy „read more“ function here on the amazon page - you can see at a glance what songs are in a book even when the „look inside“ doesn’t show you the complete contents.
And I like the kalimba tab used in this book - it’s very easy to comprehend and you really don’t have to read music to play these songs. I really can’t understand another reader putting this book down, as I’m having lots of fun playing these songs.

Never heard of these songs
Reviewed in the United States on 14 December 2019Verified Purchase
I'm 74 and I have heard of only two songs in this book. The description should list the "Americana" songs. I expected some Robert Foster, Yankee Doodle and such. Our ancestors were morbid folks as the lyrics are about death and such. I don't even want to give this to my granddaughter. Wish it was return free.

Nice book but overall the internet always rules song searching
Reviewed in the United States on 18 February 2021Verified Purchase
It’s worth the money, decent little song book. But honestly your kid is just going to search songs on the internet so it’s sort of pointless to buy this book. My 16 year old sister opened this book up twice on Christmas, hasn’t touched it since, only looks up songs on the internet or YouTube. I wish teenagers still liked books! Lol
