I used these on an A style mandolin, but I think the size would also be OK for guitars. I was pleased with the appearance and they came with both washers and felt pads for a nice looking installation that doesn't mark the finish. The description includes the words "strap locks", but you can see from the picture that there is no kind of locking mechanism. However, the size of the mushrooms provided a nice snug fit for the strap I installed, and I think the fit is as good as any standard button. I was quite happy with them, and got 3 sets not much more than I had expected to pay for one.
These worked out great for my Alvarez 5014 guitar and a Cordoba Concert series ukulele. For the Uke I did exchanged the size of the screw because it was excessively long for the Uke heal. I also applied wax to the pre drilled holes to ease penetration. A stepping drilling is recommended to prevent splits and raising up the finish or wood layers on instruments assembled from laminate wood.
I only needed a pair of these, so I used the brass ones. But the screw actually broke in half while I was installing it - into an already-threaded hole in the tail block. Glad I had more screws to use for backups. I advise pre-drilling your holes as large as possible.

Drilled a pilot hole a couple millimeters smaller than the shaft of the screw and zipped the screw right in with a power driver. Installed these flawlessly on the heel of the neck of three instruments in less than 15 minutes. Provided screws worked just fine.
