Knipex 12 62 180, self-adjusting insulation stripper is an ideal compact standard tool for all current cable cross-sections and insulating materials. It can be used for single, multiple, and fine stranded cables of 10 AWG (0.2 mm²) up to 24 AWG (6 mm²) with standard insulation. This tool adjusts automatically to the respective cable cross-section preventing damage to the conductor. It allows the user to experience comfortable operation due to the handy shape and low product weight. The narrow head style allows toe tool to be used in confined spaces and also features a wire cutter for copper an aluminium wires up to 2.5 mm². The replacable length stop is adjustable from from 15/64" - 23/32" (6.0 - 18.0 mm) for stripping the same lengths during repetitive work. The replacable blades are crafted from special tool steel and oil hardened.
