Our boy is 4.5 months old and almost 5 pounds. We went with the S but I think he could fit an XS for maybe another month. The quality is very nice, no long arms to get dirty, and looks really cute. Put it on him and he curled right up for a nap in it. Very happy with this purchase and will be buying more.

My cat is 6 months old and about 6 or 7 lbs. I got the extra small hoping it would fit, but it was too tight on him. It's hard to tell which way is up, one photo is the first try putting it on him and I put it on backwards. It was very difficult to get on him. Finally got it on right. He immediately ran off, somehow got the sweater off (probably with his big brothers help) and lost the sweater. I was going to return it, but I still can't find it.

Initially before purchase, I assumed that my pup would need an XS. She’s a 12 week old Pomeranian who weighs a little over 1.5lbs. I went ahead and measured her and settled for a size S. So glad I did because it fits PERFECTLY.
Overall, super pleased with this purchase. Would definitely purchase again!
