Product description

Anyone who loves discovering how mega-machines work will have lots of fun with this LEGO Technic 42108 Mobile Crane. There’s plenty to learn about engineering and movement with this cool building toy featuring 8-wheel steering, 4 individually controlled outriggers, 2 cabins and a super-high telescopic arm! With its classic black and yellow design, this model looks just like the real thing. And with a mighty range of realistic features, it operates just like a real crane too. First, steer and drive the vehicle to the right spot, then use the outriggers to secure the crane in place. From the crane cabin, raise the boom and extend the telescopic arm – see how high it reaches! Then use the hoist to carry the concrete pillar – great for role-play, or just for testing what this mega-crane can do. This is a challenging and advanced build from the LEGO Technic universe, bringing the world of engineering to life.

4.0 out of 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ robuster 1292 teiliger LEGO Kranwagen ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Reviewed in Germany on 24 December 2019

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely product. The end result is well worth it.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 August 2020
Looking at the product on line, my thoughts were an easy build. Looks nice, not complicated. This would be my first crane build.
I am a Technics enthusiast. I also prefer numbered bags. Before I invest in a product, I look at the U-tube video to see if the bags are numbered. The bags are numbered.
The instruction manual contains 265 pages.
I learned a valuable lesson during this build. On page 19, a red diagram which draws your attention to the joining of 4 seperate builds also gets you to focus on lining up other pieces. I concentrated so much here that I did not pay attention if items outside the red diagram are also in the correct order.
This later resulted in a total disememble of everything and start afresh again. I was at best not happy.
Overall I enjoyed the build, challenging, tricky, well worth it if you like this type of product.
I had time on my side, no need to rush.
This is not a motorized product. Works manually. Once completed, I for some reason did not expect features to operate.
A sigh of relief passed over me when I turned the dials, the boom extended, swiviveled 360 degrees.
I highly recommend this product no 42108. Well worth it.
