Well... I've been using the same L'Oréal true match foundation for over a year and I've always had the same shade. Bought golden beige and it was a lot darker than I usually have. So I went to boots to buy another and compare. Not a genuine product, difference in the shade of foundation was very significant. Never buying foundation off the internet again!!!
After trying few foundations of the same range, I love this. Due to the golden shade, it matches the Indian skin tone well. Stays 5-7 hours if you don't go in the sun and gives medium coverage. Suits my combination skin well as it doesn't block the oil and gives a glowing look and lets the skin breathe. You can remove excess oil by lightly dabbing with tissues.
It's so light on skin and my complexion is yellowish fair and w3D3 shade is absolutely perfect for me, It gives natural look. The foundation is so good for dry skin but takes at least 5_10 Minutes to set on skin evenly. It gives medium to low coverage but my skin is clear so no problem. I recommend it
This foundation feels amazing on the skin, it's lightweight and has an easy to blend smooth formula. It gives your skin a beautiful lit from within glow without being too shiny. I have oily combination skin and just add a light dusting of powder of the top to set it. There is a huge colour selection eith plenty of different undertones which is amazing for a high street foundation! I have a warm skintone Mac NC25/NC30 and wear 3W which is the perfect match.
This L'Oreal foundation is usually great, however this foundation that I ordered from Amazon is probably fake. It is contaminated by dark blue metallic glittery particules which I detected when putting on the foundation using a magnifying mirror (x6 magnification). It is like a child's craft glitter - I even found a metallic capital 'P'! Not what you want in a foundation. Also the dispenser is faulty and it is difficult to get the foundation out. At first I didn't realise the glitter was in the foundation - thought I must be picking it up from my clothes so I carefully removed the particles with a damp cotton bud and carried on. I contacted Amazon and they are sending me a replacement. I am concerned if this is a fake or contaminated product as it could be toxic and I have been putting it on my face.
This was very, very runny and not the same as what is sold in shops. I sampled the same product in a chemist shop today in order to compare and the one in the shop has s much thicker consistency. I am very disappointed.
