In 30 years, probably the best game I've ever played

No hand-holding, few clues as to what you've to do or where you've to go. A whole world to explore. This game is, from start to finish, a stunningly beautiful adventure to be had.

I got this + spent extra $30 for DLC, every cent i spent totally worth it. not only the map is huge, the story is rich, you will spend time to explore, complete quests, get your gears. it is not only hack and slash. timing and skills are required to kill monsters, and weapons management skill is also needed, as they break!!!
the only thing i want to complain is it is not a easy game, i want a stash to store weapons, bows and shields as some of them are rare. i do not want to break them, but there is no stash for this game,

Having played a few of the well known Zelda games recently (like Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask), I was not sure how this game would stand amongst the classics. There are a lot of open world RPG games too these days, making me sceptical on how this will turn out.
After sinking some good long hours into it, I can say that I am a big fan. Everything from the gameplay, graphics and story are all refined, in ways like the classic Zelda games were. Nintendo have done such a good job, and it is genuinely fun. It is simple to pick up, but has layers and layers of complexity that is revealed by playing through puzzles or experimenting yourself.
Also, this game is quite long. You won't get bored or have to put it down anytime soon.

This is the 1st Zelda game I've owned and 1st I've completed. I loved this game a lot, kind of regretted trading it in until a sequel was announced.
I loved how the gameplay was a mix of Dark Souls & Zelda. I loved even more how it allowed you to be really creative, it's designed so well that even to this day (if you look at the sub reddit for it) there are people finding new & unique ways of performing stunts, tricks, bypassing enemies/areas etc... It's amazing.

Having not had much success with Zelda games in the past, despite my best efforts, I was sceptical when I ordered this, but thought all of the amazing reviews can't be wrong, and maybe I'm the problem, not the franchise.
I'm glad I took the chance, because it really is a great piece of work. The area is huge and varied, and every corner yields a new discovery. I still continue to be taken aback, even after having sunk over 70 hours into it.
It's a completionists nightmare or dream dependent on your viewpoint. There is just so much to do and you can sometime feel overwhelmed with the sidequests and exploration. But the game is what you make of it, dipping your toe into it as much as your time allows.
Finally, you don't need to have an intimate grasp of the Zelda lore to enjoy or understand the game. I have only a nodding acquaintance to the franchise and I don't think I'm missing out. It's an RPG which stands on its own to feet. Would recommend for any library.

Probably the best game for the Switch. If you have the console you totally need this game as well. I've only had it for a few days but already managed to sink more than 10h into it. Really well made with beautiful graphics, puzzles, action and music. It takes over 10GB so of you want to save storage space, get the physical version

This was a purchase for my partner. He seemed to really enjoy the game especially the size of it considering it is for a switch. So guess that's 5 stars from me

I've been playing this game pretty solidly for the past month and still discovering new things. The storyline is great, gameplay is fun -- everything you expect from a Zelda game but so much more. Worth buying a switch just for this game.

I had a Nintendo switch lite but had a hard time reading and seeing the print. I am 70 years old and eyesight not very good. I bought a new switch that I can play on my TV and this game is great. It will provide hours of fun for me and my grandchildren. I like the dragon quest games also, but this game is by far the best.

What can I say? It’s Zelda. It’s a fun, open world play and gorgeously rendered. I used the guide with it though but it took none of the fun away. I just don’t like to miss stuff. I reviewed the guide I bought as well.

I'm not a gamer, this is new to me. Starts out easy for you to learn. The shrines are fun (the puzzle ones) All designed for you to learn the abilities. The graphics are beautiful. I may need an intervention because it is hard to put down. I also look at rocks in a different way
