Great product & very strong & tough compared to most silicone lickmats. Dishwasher/freezer proof & keeps my girl busy for a longtime. Filled will sardines / mackerel, plain Greek yoghurt , Coconut oil, veggies & fruits, brown rice & pulled meat, peanut paste or freeze for cool summer snacks & treats. I now finish eating before she does! I rate it 4⭐ out of 5⭐ but only because it's not so easy to clean & needs to come with a cleaning brush or u need 2 wait till food dries turn upside down & tap excess food out.
Great product for my four month old Border Collie. I always thought they were a bit gimmicky but he's teething really badly at the moment. After some research, I thought buying one of these and then using yoghurt to then freeze on it would work a treat to help cool his mouth and soothe his sore gums and well, I'm so happy I tried it, and I even bought another lickimat!
They're a bit of a nightmare to clean but manageable and he hasn't once tried to chew the mat.
I planned on using this to feed raw food on Don't know why but neither or our dogs would touch there food on it One dog is fussy not surprised with her . The other will eat anything and everything but he would not either Tried several times but they would not They sniffed and walked away. It did look good and liked the raised square s ment liquid would stay on mat. I tried tuna and all sorts but sadly no they would not . Great design And looks tough Sorry Give it a try maybe will work for your dogs ,cat etc
This style is brilliant for feeding my dogs raw food in. It slows him down from gobbling it all up and gives him something to do. This is great for lots of food but I never use it for treats as it would be too much. I use the cross shaped lickimat for his treats like yogurt etc. So great for raw fed dogs (all dogs should be)! It washes well in the dishwasher and is very durable. Good quality product compared to old lickimats. Highly recommend
My dog loves her lickimat so I bought this as a second so I could rotate them. Best way I’ve found to use it is to spread the soft good on and then freeze it and it takes her longer to eat them. The only downside is that they are tricky to clean in the corners of the little cells. I’ve found scrubbing it with a cheap dishwashing brush and running is the best bet, and then I pop it in the dishwasher. I’m not sure if they’re actually supposed to go in the dishwasher, but they’ve survived in it so far!
Great for freezing in the summer and takes my dog a good ten minutes or more to finish every last morsel. I don't think it would survive with a dog that gets frustrated easily or one that loves to chew. Definitely worth supervising the first few times and starting with easy treats for them to lick off. You're better off putting this through the dishwasher or you'll spend a good while with a scrubbing brush to get it clean.
I bought this as I saw something that suggested it was perfect for raw feeding and a more natural way of eating meals and wet treats like peanut butter as a bordem buster. Washes up well in the dishwasher but can leave a few stubborn bits in corners that need an extra scrub with a brush...
My 6 month old doberman pup loves this. Great for decompression after a walk. The only downside is cleaning it after using peanut butter, its a nightmare. Don't let that put you off, it cleans really easily in dishwasher if you use any other food on it.
Robust but not easy for the dog to get in every corner and to clean I have to use a nail brush for the corners that have the food stuck. Small price to pay for the fact the dog’s love this idea of getting their little treat with the vitamins and oil in.
