The Safe T Sleep Sleep wrap product was designed in 1992 as an aid to nurturing positive parenting skills. This unique, tested, trialed and proven baby wrap allows all natural movements according to age and stage of development whilst keeping babies in their safest possible position are sleeping. When we have to wash it, it is a nightmare. He doesn’t sleep, he rolls around the cot crying, getting legs stuck, hitting his head, won’t nap. I 100% believe this is why he slept through the night from 6 months old onward, he sat there talking to himself and went back to sleep, without it he would scream and roll onto his tummy.
Unfortunately after about 7 months my son has wiggled out of the harness twice and now at 8 months can undo the Velcro, when he doesn’t undo the Velcro completely he sits there playing with it and it’s extremely loud, I would however say it’s worth it, despite having to get out of bed and strap him back in a few times or listening to the annoying sound, I feel my son could have been a victim of SIDS without this as he just didn’t know how to sleep on his stomach safely.
The next day I immediately bought a sleeping bag with a seatbelt hole and we started using a combination of the safetsleep strap and the new sleeping bag.
Overall my 6 months old likes the safetsleep, it prevents her from rolling in her sleep. But never ever put your baby for a night's sleep without the middle strap.
