On the plus side, once in, great at cancelling out background noise. Sublime sound quality. Really decent product for the price. It's a shame I hate them so much I've boxed them back up, never to use again.

I fiddled around with the ear hooks but they're not very good and not very effective. I tried the different latex blobs on the end of the earphones and the cone type kept in my ear the longest but still eventually failed and fell. As soon as sweat is added in the mix you're finished. I really don't want to be constantly stopping, drying my ears and replacing the earphones. Apart from that, most of the time, I pushed the earphone in and it blocked my ear with no sound coming from one ear at all. It finally works after two songs worth of fiddling. Then falls out!
So money wasted but fortunately not expensive. I eventually found a new pair of of my old neckband sweat resistant earphones on Ebay.
I bought these I.E.M's for use in the studio & on stage, after being recomended them by a friend and for listening to music on a mp3 player.
Nice packaging - which came with extra ear buds, so you can use the size suitable for your ears. they even come with instructions on how to wear them correctly!
They also included a strong zipped carry box - to store the I.E.M.s (& extra ear buds) when not in use.
They fit perfet and are instantly comfy to wear.
The signal is fantastic! With a nice clean, warm over all response. (Which is as good as the m6 pro version.)
The signal is crisp and clear - on the top end , mid range and bottom end.
a nice flat response - so I could hear songs how they were meant to sound like, when recorded.
(simular to listening through a pair of BEYERDYNAMIC DT100's)
I've used them in band practice and i was blown away with the quality!
Brilliant when it comes to sound isolation -
they were perfect for the job and cant wait to test them on stage.
I've also been listening to music on a mp3 player and the sound is againt fantastic.
I am really pleased with these I.E.M's.
over all they are -
*Great over-all sound.
*Comfy to wear & dont keep falling out.
*A bargain- great price!
The only SLIGHT problem is the length of the cable- its perfect for use with a mp3 player in your pocket - or attatched to wireless device.
But not long enough to use in the studio as monitors when recording .
I will be buying more of these - no question!
I would highly recomend any one buy these.
whether its just for listening to your mp3 player (or cassettes on your walkman)
- or for "profesional" use as a musician
Definitely a quality product !
But the sound is so poor, it makes me wonder ehy I'd ever put them on. Zero bass, and a harsh, tinny and compressed sound. I've had plenty of cheapo headphones which give far better sound.
So this gets one star, because £10 wasted is £10 wasted.
Overall, excellent quality, very comfortable and amazing price.
These are not good if used as I wanted, which was to hear vocals more clearly at band practice or gigs. No better than half dozen pairs I already have for various devices (I-pod, phones, kindle et). Don't e fooled by the photograph those are not around the ear connectors they ae just the wires to the ear buds so the damn things fall out if the wire is tugged.
I was very dubious of an unheard of brand, but they got good reviews, so I gave them a try.
They are just what I was looking for. A good sports heaphone with great sound and good value for money.
Well, they are superb at sticking in your ear whilst running. Get the right ear plug (plenty to choose from, some a bit weird looking, but horses for courses) and these little buggers need prising out of your ear, they certainly don't slip even when sweating!
The sound is very good. I thought they were a bit tinny at first, but in comparison they just produce an extremely clear sound with good mid & bass. Very impressed with the sound.
Wasn't sure of the bend to fit wrap round the top of your ear. Once you get used to that it works a treat. Lets see how durable that is.
Tangle free wires are good too.
They fit so snug to the contour of your ear that you can hardly hear much externally even without any music playing (good for the train).
Only had them a couple of weeks and I'm impressed so far. Quality product with a neat carry case. A surprising find.
Firstly postage was two days early which was obviously a nice surprise. The headphone packaging is neat and minimal. They provide 6 sets of sweat proof ear tips ranging from single to triple sized. You're bound to find a set that fit really well.
The memory wire idea is nice and they seem to fit very well after a day though I don't know if that fit will stay the same over time. The little carry case is nice, as is the clip on the cable to clip it to clothes.
The sound is great from a cheap pair of headphones and sounds much better than the price would suggest. The build quality is solid and looks to be long lasting.
I'm glad I went with this pair over the others I looked at.
The wife wanted some headphones for her new iphone, but didn't want anything too big, too expensive, too fragile but not crap either! Well I said, you don't want much do you!!!
I looked at all the usual suspects, Sennheiser, creative, JVC, Sony etc but none of them caught my eye. Then I happened across these....Never heard of MEElectronics before, and i often research headphones, so was initially dubious. I read the reviews though and loved the look of them, and thought 'Hell, they are only £20'.
What a bargain! These headphones punch well above their weight. They look cool, just like a professional IEM, they are very secure in your ears. I have swapped the ear buds for Comply memory foam tips, which offer much better isolation and doubled the bass sound they produce. They are clear and precise, and whilst they do lack a little in the mid range who can complain, they are £20 for god's sake!
The missus is over the moon with them, and should i have any problems with my UE Triple Fi's I would have no hesitation in swiping these from her to use (if I could find a few moments that she doesn't have them in her ears of course).
An excellent buy and I would strongly recommend them.
First off sound quality is OK, the Sennheisers were much better in terms of soundstage and clarity, but I could have probably gotten used to the M6. My main issues with these is that I can't seem to get a proper fit. I've tried all the supplied eartips (yeah yeah I've watched the tutorial that is basically useless, too. This is for you, MEE customer support.), and when I actually do get a proper seal, It feels like this uncomfortable sort of "vacuum" and the sound nearly disappears - imagine playing music on your speakers in a room, getting out of it and closing the door - this is what it sounds like. With all my other headphones I've always used the standard (medium size) tips and have had no issues.
When I do somehow get these to stay in properly and start training, things like moving my jaw or smiling drastically change the sound, which is incredibly annoying. You can also sometimes hear the drivers crackling, which makes these headphones feel like something you'd buy from the $1 store. When I go to the gym, I usually sweat A LOT, and these are the first headphones which actually act as a total sweat magnet. After 15 minutes of running I have sweat in both my ear canals, which has never happened with any other headphone I've owned.
I've also had other over-the-ear headphones (Vsonic GR-06) which were excellent and did not have any of the issues I described.
After going for 2 runs in them, I am confident I have made a good choice.
Multiple ear canal fittings
Clothing clip << which might not seem like much, but it's a nice touch to include one.
So far none. If anything detrimental happens down the line then I will of course amend this.
Over the years, I have tried lots of different headphones by different manufacturers. Trying to achieve a decent sound with minimal micro-phonics seemed to be impossible. Until I came across a report on micro-phonics with a link to appropriate headphones, which lead me to these... At £20 I thought it would be worth the risk.
Initial reaction was a little subdued, although the headphones were a comfortable fit and the quality very good, the sound had no depth!
The following Sunday was Fathers Day and I received a new Ipod Nano 6th Gen. which has a EQ setting. Excellent... with a little bit of base the headphones transformed into my best buy this year and the best I have ever had for walking, biking, gardening etc.
Every now and again, I find myself tapping the wire, just to see if I hear the usual thud through the headphones...and nothing! ;)
