These are hands down the most frustrating earphones I've ever owned. They simply cannot be put in the ear quickly. It's like a science project, straightening them out, inserting, adjusting for correct placement, then carefully curling the cable around the ear. I wanted something for when I'm sitting at my computer, just put them in, work, pull them out. These are maddening. On the plus side, once in, great at cancelling out background noise. Sublime sound quality. Really decent product for the price. It's a shame I hate them so much I've boxed them back up, never to use again.
For the price I was actually surprised by this product. I read some quite unfair reviews after I'd bought the product so was naturally worried. But my worries found no weight once I used the product. Very cheap but very cheerful.
I heard these mentioned - and highly praised - for motorcycling use by "Ryan F9" in the Fortnine channel on You-tube (good stuff, by the way, intelligent, thoughtful, high production-value motorcycling content from Canada). Anyway, the story was that they fitted comfortably and, more to the point, securely under a helmet, AND they had the dual advantage of delivering good sound quality and good noise cancellation. I originally wanted them for hearing SatNav instructions when touring on the bike - turns out I can listen to music as well. They appear to be of high quality manufacture, they sound good, and they stay put. I am very pleased.
My old pair of bright green Sennheiser neckband earphones finally broke after many years service and punishment and I needed something to replace them for gym use and general iPod listening. I want great quality sound, comfort and small size. The old Sennheisers did all of this but were no longer available on Amazon, the reviews for the new Models weren't too good or they were too expensive so I spotted the good reviews for these. I've used ear buds before and they always fall out but I took a gamble on the ear hook and the in ear rubber thingies on the end maybe keeping it all in place. No. I fiddled around with the ear hooks but they're not very good and not very effective. I tried the different latex blobs on the end of the earphones and the cone type kept in my ear the longest but still eventually failed and fell. As soon as sweat is added in the mix you're finished. I really don't want to be constantly stopping, drying my ears and replacing the earphones. Apart from that, most of the time, I pushed the earphone in and it blocked my ear with no sound coming from one ear at all. It finally works after two songs worth of fiddling. Then falls out! So money wasted but fortunately not expensive. I eventually found a new pair of of my old neckband sweat resistant earphones on Ebay.
Very happy. Recommended by colleague, I went for the cheaper version rather than the more expensive rebuildable ones to see what they were like. Answer is great. Sound is good, with good response through the range, though shifting the ear buds around can have some interesting side effects of being able to "feel" your footsteps in your head... Fit is brilliant, best I've ever had. They work well riding the turbo trainer and on the running machine (I would not recommend earphones for external running / riding as just not safe). The over the ear cable can requires some adjusting, but once set right disappears completely and the ear buds do not fall out, not even in a 2hr turbo trainer sweatbath... When these wear out, I'll be buying the expensive ones!
*ANOTHER QUALITY MEE PRODUCT* I bought these I.E.M's for use in the studio & on stage, after being recomended them by a friend and for listening to music on a mp3 player. Nice packaging - which came with extra ear buds, so you can use the size suitable for your ears. they even come with instructions on how to wear them correctly! They also included a strong zipped carry box - to store the I.E.M.s (& extra ear buds) when not in use. They fit perfet and are instantly comfy to wear.
The signal is fantastic! With a nice clean, warm over all response. (Which is as good as the m6 pro version.) The signal is crisp and clear - on the top end , mid range and bottom end. a nice flat response - so I could hear songs how they were meant to sound like, when recorded. (simular to listening through a pair of BEYERDYNAMIC DT100's)
I've used them in band practice and i was blown away with the quality! Brilliant when it comes to sound isolation - they were perfect for the job and cant wait to test them on stage.
I've also been listening to music on a mp3 player and the sound is againt fantastic. I am really pleased with these I.E.M's. over all they are - *Brilliant ! *Great over-all sound. *Comfy to wear & dont keep falling out. *A bargain- great price!
The only SLIGHT problem is the length of the cable- its perfect for use with a mp3 player in your pocket - or attatched to wireless device. But not long enough to use in the studio as monitors when recording .
I will be buying more of these - no question! I would highly recomend any one buy these. whether its just for listening to your mp3 player (or cassettes on your walkman) - or for "profesional" use as a musician
