To be fair, this is the only frame I have purchased for this kind of document, and once you get the document in it does look really nice, but I have 3 main complaints about the quality.
1) 2 of the little metal pieces that hold the back of the frame in came off while installing, however there are still plenty more, but be careful with those.
2) the wood on the front is finished very nicely, but on the back it is not. It is painted, but not sanded or finished. Mine is already chipping a bit on the back.
3) I don't know if this is normal for these kind of frames, but I was expecting a way to slot my document in and hold it in perfect place so it wasn't at an angle. If you look closely it is still at a bit of an angle but I gave up. I had to take the edges out of the frame, tape the document to the front so I could see it was straigt, then tape it from the back so I could remove the front tape, and then put everything in so that the document would stay attached to the edges at the right angle. Huge waste of time and I wish there were just some slots in the paper to save this time.
That being said, I liked that the glass sent was wrapped on both sides so it was in perfect condition. I also really like how well finished the wood and gold sections on the front are. It looks great once its all done. Overall I would have spend a good 10-15 dollars more for an easier setup and slightly higher built quality.
