This eyeliner is terrible. Applicator is awful - super thick and not smooth. It takes a very long time to dry and peels off and smudges too easily. When it does eventually dry, it does not stay on and the corners lift. The tools it comes with are okay.
Overall, don’t waste your money on this product.
Edit: Several magnets have fallen off after only two wears. Do not let the liner touch your eyelashes.
These lashes are great!! Even better than expected, I can’t say enough about these lashes!
The packaging is amazing - comes with all the tools you need and even a cute little case, with a mirror, to keep your lashes safe. (Pictured in review.)
Unfortunately the case only has 2 spots for lashes and the product comes with 3 sets of lashes, but the longest lashes are extremely dramatic and I will never use them so I just threw them out and kept the other 2 sets in the case.
Also, the tweezers are magnetic which makes it tricky when you’re putting the lashes on because they just stick to the tweezers instead of going on your eye. They’re easy enough to apply with your fingers though!
It took a bit of practice, especially if you’re not used to applying liquid eyeliner, but for someone who isn’t used to it, it only took me about 3 tries to get them on and looking amazing! I did trim them a tiny bit but for the most part they fit really well and still work after multiple uses.
The instructions say to complete the allergy test first but they don’t specify what the test is... I just tried a little bit near my eye first and it seemed fine. I’m one that has very sensitive skin and the eyeliner doesn’t bother me at all!
I got this pack of lashes on sale at $12.99! SO much better than the $300 set I first saw on another site!
Overall I am extremely happy with these lashes! Even if they only lasted me a month or two I would still be happy and feel like I got my money’s worth.
(One pic shows one eye with lashes and one without, the other pic shows the most natural (shortest) set of lashes on both eyes.)
I didn't really have high expectations for magnetic lashes, I recently got my lash extensions removed and wanted to try something new before going back to glue and strip lashes. The packaging is nice, I really like how they included a compact mirror and small scissors. The tweezers are useless though so might as well use your fingers instead.
The eyeliner is thick and messy to apply, even with my short lashes, it gets caught in them and its a PAIN to remove even with waterproof makeup remover (it applies thick and removes in small flakes). The brush makes it near impossible to get a good sharp wing in so my recommendation is to apply your eyeliner normally with another liner and then use the Anjou eyeliner as thick and as close to your lash line as possible (it's still really hard to get out).
I have decently large eyes for an Asian girl and I usually don't need to trim my store bough strip lashes but I had to adjust these ones to my eyes. They sat on my eye so weirdly and pointed upwards, making it so obvious I was wearing lashes despite sitting right at my lash line. I think it has something to do with the magnet placement. Would recommend only for playing around with, probably not good for everyday use.
I never wore false lashes before, heard a lot of people say the magnetic lashes are easier so I figured I'd try them out. Firstly, the liquid liner is nice and black, stays black all day and goes nowhere. I struggled getting the liquid liner only on my eyelids because my real lashes were in the way - I might try to hold my lashes down next time. The liner applicator is a bit messy though, the whole wand is covered and you need to wipe off the extra otherwise it'll drip. Once the lashes are on, they are comfortable and they stay in place all day. If you go to readjust them, be warned you will need more of the liner as the magnets take the liner off your eyelid. At the end of the day, taking the lashes off is easy, but removing the liner is a struggle. It clumped up into stringy balls, getting tangled in my eyelashes... so that was a struggle. Overall, I'm happy with them, but I feel there could be room for improvement.
The magnetic eyeliner doesn't keep the eyelashes on at all. They fall off with a small movement or a gust of wind. I followed the instructions, let the eyeliner dry (smells really really bad by the way), stuck the eyelashes on top, they stick but doesn't take a lot for them to fall off. Very disappointed with the quality of this product.
