I did not find it hot (but then I do eat hot chillies thai, birdseye, habanero, ghost, scotch), the flavour is almost right.
2 changes. 1) LESS salt it needs a little less salt in the blend & 2) LESS Cumin, it wasn't too bad though.
I know another reviewer claimed it needed more but for me I can clearly taste it above all other spices & without even reading the ingredient list I could clearly tell that it is in it so much so that I could readily use this as a base to create a butter chicken sauce from scratch with an addition of masala, butter & cream or yoghurt, corriander powder etc etc
a seasoning like this being Mexican should use less cumin if it was Indian cuisine (from India not native american) then more cumin but in a taco seasoning it should be balanced & not overpower the other flavours. a golden ratio but I suppose it varies batch to batch with spice/herb freshness, over/under measurement.
This is one of the better ones.
