I purchased these gloves for paintballing, and used the sizing chart to order what it said I should have been (a large). However when they arrived they seemed awful big and loose in parts. So I ordered the medium and they were a much better fit and had very good dexterity. The large gloves were easy to return for a refund as well, simply return in the original packaging without removing the tags (as you can try them on without disturbing any of the tags). These gloves provide excellent protection to high risk areas while still providing good dexterity. If you are in any doubt about the sizing or are between sizes, I would go down a size.

I renovated an entire house with a single pair of these. The ergonomics are fantastic and the protection is good enough for pretty much any task, including wall-sanding, removing tiles and stone-paving, among others. After a year of working with them, they have finally given up - so I'll frame them and hang them up on a wall as a symbol for completing the renovation. Also, I bought a new pair just in case.
The ONE DAY I wasn't wearing them - I actually put a screwdriver through my left index finger. Lesson learned...
Gloves looked great when they first arrived and fit well but have started to fall apart after a few weeks of work. I used them in the rain as was working outside and the combination of wet and hard work has shown the fabric and thread is falling apart and not going to last that long. Don’t be fooled by the impact rubber sections as a sign of long lasting wear as the rubber is strong but the fabric isn’t upto the job.
I drive a articulated truck for a living, swapping trailers, moving cargo, opening doors etc. These gloves are first rate and comfortable. I’ve got a couple of pairs. Go a size down from what you think you normally are as they’ll be stretchy. The rubber knuckle protection does not cover the first knuckle so don’t show off by punching walls in them. That’ll hurt! And whilst the fingers are reinforced they won’t allow you to use a touchscreen or iphone whilst wearing them like other styles of Mechanix gloves do. But for protection and working, these are great. And they machine wash clean of grease without harming them too.
All good so far! I’m a low loader driver, running diggers, dumpers etc, I use my gloves on a daily basis. They are so much nicer than our standard general handling gloves. The padding has saved me from a few chaining hits and bashes. For intricate work it would be much more difficult but have found these are pretty near perfect for what I need them for!
Update - November 2019
Just starting to wear through the seams on one of the fingers. Considering my line of work and how many times I have washed them I’m pleased with how long they have lasted
Using these to race alpine Downhills (Mountain Biking) and they offer great comfort and protection. Also seem to dampen chatter from the front wheel thanks to the D3O padding in the palm. Obviously you won’t feel as ‘connected’ to the bike as with thinner Mtb specific gloves but so what: when your charging down a rock garden and superman over the bars they’ll save your skin. Probably great on a building site too :)
Been using my pair for work, I'm into grounds maintenance so use a lot of power tools i.e. hedge trimmers stimmers and such as well as hand weeding and I've used these daily since the 29th June. Can be washed in the machine too which is a bonus.
I have been using these gloves to do gardening and touch construction project jobs. they are comfortable, protects hands, do not impair the sense of touch, and is washable and durable. Great gloves. I would recommend it to my friends.
Use them for trekking/bushcraft. Comfortable. Great levels of dexterity. Seem durable and hard wearing but velcro stiching on one glove partially undone just after few wears. Such a shame they aren't at least water resistant. They get soaking wet very quickly and freeze your hands to the bone in colder conditions. Still good product.
