Overall good carrier. The shell is solide. First time I lifted the carrier with the cat inside though, the crate disassembled ! So make sure all those plastic parts are attached correctly. Once I got all those pieces snapped together well, it is a good spacious crate. My cat is 15 lbs and he can sit up with a tiny bend in his neck. I worry the handle will not last thought. It is a fixed thin plastic handle. It slightly bends when lifting my cat (15 lbs). Also, there are no hinges on the handle like my previous carrier making it a little less comfortable to walk with it without tilting kitty sideways. The door is also a little different from previous carriers I owned: you have to move a little plastic piece to unlock the door, I feel with time the piece will wear and the door will become loose. The door is not a "pinch -type" release like normal carriers. It still gets the job done to go to the vet, but if you carry your kitty often, I think this carte will won't last. PROS: no tool needed to assemble, good price point, the plastic had NO smell what so ever. CONS: All plastic parts except the door. Thin fixed handle. Not for daily use.

I agonized over the size and was worried it was going to be too small based on previous reviews. But upon receipt, I was very pleased. My shorthair is a little under $10-lbs and in the photo next to the carrier.Reviewed in the United States on 9 March 2019
Then both my cats decided they both wanted to sleep in it which I didn’t think they’d make it work. Alas I was wrong and thus the second photo!
Furthermore, people complained about the door, but this is the same style as an older carrier I have and it hasn’t been problematic so I see no issues with this one. You can make it a swinging door if you don’t open the locks on one side, but it’s just easier to pop it off!
