If you are looking for crystal clear nails or a glass effect I don’t think this is a good option. There are many tiny bubbles when the product dries and after a few hours or so they turn a very obvious yellow color so it’s not as see-through and also not the color you want. I don’t think this is good for beginners because you want to give yourself the best possible chance to have nice looking nails. I think a purple colored monomer might give a clearer effect
There’s something not right with this product. The polymer and monomer are probably fine on their own, but they don’t work well together for me. I could not get a clear nails for the life of me. The acrylic is riddled with bubbles every time. Tried the polymer with Mia Secret monomer and it was much better. Also, the monomer was leaking when it arrived in the mail.
This product went on great and looked like it was going to be amazing. Only has one mail to fix, my index finger. If you notice it is yellowed not just a little A LOT! It makes my nails look dirty. Asking for refund or replacement where the acrylic will be clear.
For beginners this is an affordable item. unfortunately the monomer turns yellow. I figured since this is clear acrylic powder that it should get the job fine, not. In the dish after a few seconds the liquid turns. I immediately removed them seeing how dirty they looked.
Yes the acrylic worked like any other acrylic. But I would rather spend an extra 3 or 5 extra dollars on a Mia’s Secret acrylic powder because this brand YELLOWS so quick and it’s just very unflattering. I see a lot of good reviews but I believe if u want an acrylic that is clear and does not yellow, choose mia’s secret.
This is a sizable amount of acrylic, and seems like a great deal for someone just starting, but in practice the monomer has a very strong scent (Not a problem to me, but my family cannot stand it), and the clear acrylic yellows fairly fast, within a day or two. As the yellowing is pretty bad, I say go for another kit that doesn't yellow, and hopefully isn't as strongly scented.
