To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I believed I had ordered a 6 foot cable and instead ordered the 3ft equivalent. It simply won't work for me because of its length. Unfortunately, Amazon would not allow me to return this item, stating ineligibility.
Beyond the written policy being quite confusing, poorly defined for this item in context of my situation, while delivering a cumbersome interface that offers little in the way of customer service and includes irrelevant or no information otherwise, I simply find the experience to be unacceptable.
Simply put, the item is effectively defective for my use and as such I would expect it to be eligible for return without hesitation while being provided a seamless and friendly user interface and return process. That was not the experience I encountered. I spend thousands of dollars with Amazon every year and I expect more.
The cable itself is excellent quality however my customer service experience was not.
