The cable is excellent quality and the trs plug is excellent quality however unfortunately the xlr quality control on the sizing is BAD, I can barely plug it in , goes extremely hard , the diameter is to small . Which is sad cause the rest of the cable is very good

I ordered 2 cables both of them look excellent visually but are wired incorrectly. For those that understand, These cables that were sent to me were both wired with an inverted phase, meaning Pin 2 and pin 3 are flipped around on one side of the cable. I am going to keep them because they will work for what I need them for. For someone not knowing what is going on, You could be introducing the works possible case of phase issues into your setup.

Shoddy soldering

When I first started using this cable I noticed a buzzing whenever I moved the cable a certain way. After inspecting it I noticed the shielding cable was not affixed properly to the 1/4 connector contact. I ended up bending the shielding wire under the contact crimp because there wasn't a good place to solder it, which was probably why it came loose to begin with.
Other than that, I am happy with the cable and the fix was simple enough. The sound quality is clear and the cable doesn't twist like some cheaper ones might.

I'm glad I read the last review. I would have never known that the cables were not wired right. Bought a multimeter and checked the cables and sure enough. Tip is wired to pin 3 instead of pin 2. No problem for me though as I am novice level tinkerer and will get them switched. I rated a 3 only because I have to get into the soldering and fix myself. This is my second set of cables and the 1st set is working just fine and I should go back and rate them a 5. These cables are well built ( except for wiring detail} and I expect to be using these a long time.

I wanted to use these cables for my acoustic/electric guitar. They are a little short for that appicaton (my fault though). They seem to be built well but I'd say in comparison to other cables I've used for my applicaiton, the sound is average. These will work in many applications and might be satisfactory to most. If you are a performing musician, you would do better to look at higher quality cables for best sound quality and lowest noise.

honestly look and feel quality.. have a tension spring for fatigue and {gold} contacts BUT...one of two i bought devoloped a "problem"... ...i did play the old "wiggle the wire for the win" a couple times during loud mixing... my stubborn self didn't think...blow a $200 monitor with a $10 cable instantly!!!
