Product description

Worried about what's going on in your baby's room when you're not there? Learning to sleep alone in a room helps establish a good bedtime routine for infants. The thing is, getting out of bed to check on your baby every now and then can rob you of precious sleep, making you feel cranky and exhausted in the morning. You want to make sure that your little one is sleeping soundly, but you also need to get some shut-eye or keep the house in order. What you need is a baby monitor that will give you eyes and ears on your baby's room, allowing you to check on your infant without getting out of bed or dashing to and from cooking dinner. Remotely ensure the comfort and safety of your child with Motorola's MBP50-G2 Baby Monitor. Our video baby monitor set includes a parent control unit, which is fitted with a 5" LCD color display. This shows you the feed from both cameras simultaneously via its split screen feature, plus temperature and sound sensors. See if the room is getting too hot or cold. Immediately get alerted when your baby is in distress. To soothe and comfort your child, you may use the parent unit as a microphone to talk to your baby, reassuring them that you're always there. You may also play the 5 preloaded lullabies to help relax your infant and lull them into a sweet slumber. The cameras and parent unit can transmit up to 1000 feet apart, ensuring you stay updated whether you're mowing the lawn or cleaning the attic. Alerts let you know when you're out of range, or low on batteries. Check out more features of our baby monitor: ✅ Up to 5 hours of monitor operation ✅ Reliable 2.4Ghz wireless technology ✅ Rechargeable battery on the parent unit ✅ Compatible with Motorola's StarGrip Mount Watch over your precious angel while enjoying better sleep and productivity. 1.0 out of 5 stars Model has been updated and changed - for the worse!
Reviewed in Canada on 16 October 2020
I purchased the older model last year, (FCD ID: MBP50BU), model number MBP50-G2, and raved about it. It was a fantastic monitor and 2-camera system with the option of adding more. Unfortunately my son threw the parent unit and it broke, so I purchased another set of units to replace it. They are NOT compatible with the old cameras. I repeat, they are NOT compatible, so buying more cameras for your old system is a waste of money. Check the bottom - if it's the FCC ID MBP50BBU, return it now! The screen lags, the sound is barely there, the battery dies fast, the panning feature is delayed, and everything about it feels so much cheaper than the old unit.
If you get the gold unit as pictured above, don't buy!
