Water I received has a close best before date, I know water can't go bad but for it to have such a close best before date it's probably been sitting in these bottles for a few years... Who knows what chemicals could be leaking into it...
The bottle size is very convenient, smaller then what you would buy as a single bottle from a retailer. Though a useful size to carry/ put in your bag for the day. Mount Franklin doesn’t have any standout taste. Which is what you want in water. You also don’t have the “tapwater taste” which you get from the tap. The bottles are made of 100% recycled material which is definitely a plus. With the price being half of the supermarkets this one gets my recommendation. Remember the days when the water came in a more sturdy bottle? yeah me neither. Water is water but is it really water unless its from the Mountains for Franklin?? of course it is. But regardless my wife bugged me to pay 5 bucks for 20 instead of 4c per L from our tap.
Same old water, except bulk!, exactly as you expect it tastes like water! aint that a shocker? take it out of the plastic, throw it in the fridge, drink! ezpz!
It’s cheap, and at 500ml, it’s smaller size and slender bottle design makes it easy for my kids to grab on to. They require a little extra “oomph” to open, so be aware of that if you’re giving them to littles or you have arthritis/carpal tunnel/etc. It’s not the crinkly flimsy plastic so you don’t have to worry about it near collapsing on you as you drink. Tastes great too, unlike the weird tapwater flavour. It’s clean.
