I got these to use with a few LED strips I was going to setup as Christmas lights. I wanted to affix them to my gutter, but I didn't want to drill holes or hang cables. I didn't know if these strips would work with the harsh cold winters of the east coast, but for the low price I took a chance.Reviewed in the United States on 23 December 2018
The tabs seem to fit my LED lights, although a little snug. I was a bit concerned if I was squeezing the lights too much or bending the circuit board, but things seem to be working well.
I was able to affix these to my gutter with no problem. I just cleaned the surface, let the surface dry, and then held down the clip in place firmly for 20-30 seconds to ensure it would stick. I placed a clip every 8 LEDs or so to provide enough support. To my surprise they've been up a few weeks and they seem to work great. Granted the lip of my gutters may be providing a little protection, but they've been hanging in rain and below freezing temperatures without an issue!
I was very, very impressed with these and I'd like to let you know that they worked outdoors for my Christmas light setup. I don't know how long they'll last, but if they ever fall off I'll update this review.
