Easy to connect, work well. Need to recharge often, so would be grate to consider buying a charging base. Games collection for move controller is okey. However some of the VR experience with move controller is not that much enjoying though. WHen you pay nearly $100, you would think that sony will give some game codes for VR with move controller compatible, but it is not the cause. However to complete VR experience in PS4 you should have this too. As usual Amazon quick postage is unbelievable quick.
At first, I was too hesitant to purchase and took me a few months to decide. I read reviews (bad and good) and the everything, until I decided to go for it.
Well, it changes my Virtual Reality (VR) game experience into a whole new level. It’s amazing!
Currently, I’m playing Skyrim and it’s great with spider-man and wow!... lots more.
I’m very new into this gaming experience but it’s good I bought this pair.
Let us say... I’m in the game itself. Fully immersed! On another 360 degrees of gaming dimension...
I am newish to PS4 VR but these are a great way to make things more realistic!
They were a little hard to pair at first but this was because I needed a data cable, not just a charging cable. Once I had the right cable, it all worked. Maybe PlayStation should just include a cable!

What these controllers do is allow you to move your hands and interact within the VR world. So, for example, in the Batman VR game you get to use these controllers to handle your various gadgets (e.g. throwing batarangs). These controllers are, therefore, very useful. However, they're not fully 'intuitive' - they don't "feel" like hands. Instead it's like you're holding a torch in each hand! I think PlayStation could have designed something better … say, 'glove' controllers.
Overall, these are necessary - so I recommend them. But they're rather low-tech, and quite expensive. PlayStation should have the decency to include them with the VR kit (without additional cost).

Motion controllers bring VR to a whole new level I must admit I thought they would be gimacky at the start but for games such as BEAT SABER AND CREED you get a serious work out and my VR experience has been enhanced in ways I cant even explain. You just have to try it out for yourself.
For me there is no going back to normal gaming. For one I just dont have time to be sitting around playing games but with the VR and motion controllers I can work out and have an absolute blast at the same time. This is a huge benefit to anyone who is shy about going to the gym like me and can have a serious workout in their own home.
FRUIT NINJA - RUSH OF BLOOD - CREED - BEAT SABRE......are just a few games that will get your heart racing and your muscles pumped just from throwing your arms around, some games require squatting too so its even better.
Motion controllers make you feel like you are in the game even more then regular controller games. You just have to play with them to believe it. Just be aware that a pair will ususally only work with one console at a time.
Despite the packaging having PS4 logos it's just a repackaged PS3 move controller and doesn't come with it's own charging cable in the box.
As such I can't use them since the charging cable that comes with the PS4 console doesn't work with these so in effect I've bought two dead controllers. PS3 charging cables aren't in manufacture anymore so I'll have to find a 3rd party one that hopefully works but already I've read not every mini usb cable is compatible, which is plainly ridiculous and equals a 1 star review.
As a side note, I'm disappointed to discover that Sony's reputation for poor design in their consumer products has finally infected their Playstation brand.
You get the two controllers, two wrist straps, but no USB leads, and the instruction booklet has various language in it – except for English! Fortunately, for me, it has Swedish instructions. However, to be honest you do not really need the booklet as your PS will tell you what to do anyway.
To get each controller registered to my PS4, this is what I did.
1. Make sure your move controllers (MC) are fully charged. Mine arrived devoid of any charge, and it took about 5 hours to charge them fully. I used a standalone MC charger which I got from Amazon for about £20.
2. Using the USB lead that you use with your standard PS controller; unplug that lead from the standard controller, and plug it into any one of the MC.
3. Press the PS button on the MC
4. Your PS should at once ask you to select which account the controller is using. Do as it asks.
5. That is it! You may find your PS will want you to calibrate your MC, but again the instructions appear on the screen. I found that my PS did not ask me to calibrate the MC until I had rebooted the console.
6. Once that is done, unplug the MC from the USB lead, and repeat steps 2-5 with the second MC.
7. Once both MC are registered you can remove the USB lead from the MC and use them as wireless controllers.
I am using these controllers on No Man’s Sky (NMS). Being so used to the standard controller I did find playing the game with the MC quite difficult at first as the actions you perform with the MC are quite different from the standard controller. Fortunately, NMS aids you with on-screen instructions. Nevertheless, you more than likely will get a bit frustrated at first as you get used to the MC. Stick with it. It is worth it. The VR game is so much better with these MC.
Moving your cursor around the PS home screen with the MC also takes some practice.
I note that some people have had trouble with registering their MC onto their PS. Fortunately I found it to be intuitive and easy to do.
These MC I received are the latest “model”.
I am only around 1m away from the camera so it doesn't require a lot of room to use.
Their charge holds for hours! I couldn't say how many hours because I get caught up in games and lose track of time.... But I hardly ever charge them! Wonderful!
I bought Beat Saber at the same time, and can honestly say that I have never experienced anything quite so much like holding a real lightsaber. It it absolutely awesome, and I strongly recommend that anyone who has ever pretended to wield one immediately try it out.
It’s expensive, mind. But I do not regret buying them even for a moment.
In terms of function, the knocking off two stars is also justified by the lack of a stick, touchpad or even a d-pad for directional control.
When it comes to tracking, I had a Vive previously and I am really impressed with how accurate these are. The only problem is the lack of field of view on the camera but when they are being tracked, I don't feel they are too bad compared to the Vive's more sophisticated system.
