Bought this as part of a project to upgrade a Squier Affinity Strat. This was simply to change the look by replacing the chrome jack plate with black. This can't be such a rare thing to do so you'd think that Musiclily would include matching screws. They don't include any at all, so I'll have to use the original chrome coloured screws until I can source some black ones. Pretty annoying, really. They do throw in a pick, but it doesn't get them any points with me. Picks I don't needs, matching black screws I do.

Fit and finish is fairly good, but the plate bulges up slightly in the middle. It flattens out again when screwed down, but bear in mind that if you're using this on something thin, it might put stress on it (I've used this for a Ritter-style output jack on a control cavity cover, and I wouldn't use it on anything thinner than 3 or 4mm). The black finish seems to be pretty good, but will chip if you're not careful.
Also, the output jack that's supplied is completely useless. The diameter of the hole is too tight and the clip (to hold the jack) is too stiff. The good news is the black nut can be used on most output jacks anyway.

Scooped profile and screw holes doesnt match original fender jack which pushes holes out of line when fitting into the jack recess. You will have have to fill and redrill the screw holes as the plate is off when paired against the original or the screws will go in at a severe angle. Fine when fitted but unless you are willing to redrill your strat it is not a straight swap.
