I have had this for almost a year and it is like another limb. I hated how i had no control over the volume of my applications and whenever i wanted to turn something down i would have to go into the volume mixer. This thing paired with either Midi Mixer or Power Mixer is actually the goat. I would reccomend Midi Mixer because it is easier to use than power mixer but i have no faults with either Both applications are free and I would say the €45 is worth it If you need to turn down discord or the game volume its right at your finger tips. 10/10
This is a great tool for the money and it does what I need but the 50mm faders are a bit short for me. It will be great to throw in the bag to do things on the go but I would like longer faders for the studio. All the controllers with longer faders (I have seen) are significantly more expensive than this so this is great if you are on a low budget.
perfect. have used this on a regular basis for 2 years now and have had no issues whatsoever. definitely no keys falling out for me as some others have said and I haven't particularly been protecting it or gentle with it. thought i'd eventually even want to upgrade to a 'better' pricier one but haven't found a need to. i use it to compose/produce with Logic. love it!
This controller is what I have seen many serious composers using as an expression / volume / dynamics controller when composing music in a DAW. Fantastic for portability when using with a laptop on the go, or when in the studio. A very popular addition to any composers tool kit. Love it.
Brought this to test my MiniDexed synth as I built it. Works brilliantly although takes a bit of getting used to. Very easy to set up but you will need a computer. Might get some of the other controllers in the range.
I have just left using Cubase after a number of years and moved over to Reason. With this nanokontrol 2 unit I just plugged it in, started up Reason, did a midi search and Reason found the unit, changed it's settings and was ready to use straight away. Just how plug and play really should be - but often isn't.
Great out of box, iPad, Mac and Win 10. Nice action for my one or two finer style. Excellent apps from Kong to download. I use with GarageBand, Logic and Reaper - perfect for me. I like the look and feel.
This USB controller is great for the money. It's not got flying faders, it's not an Avid artist mix, it doesn't make tea, but as a device for creating MIDI for your virtual instruments I can't recommend this enough... All the buttons are completely assignable using the software can be downloaded. Build quality is satisfactory for price.
I needed a compact, low-cost, tactile way to control the functions in the multi-track view in Adobe Audition CS6. This does the job perfectly! Boot it up in 'live!' mode, and you have control of level, pan, solo, mute etc. and the transport keys too. It's brilliant! I'm happy to use it as the primary controller and am no longer hankering for 'flying' faders! It's also incredibly compact and I sit it on the apron of the desk - this side of the keyboard - full access, no problem.
I wanted something that would fit in my backpack comfortably for composition on the go, and this fits the bill nicely. It has just the basic controls I need, and without the pitch joystick that can so easily break off the other brands. When I first saw the keys, I thought I might keep missing them, but it turned out to be easy, just a little different from a full-sized keyboard. It's now one of my favourites.
