Not that I expected it to last ages, but it was much weaker than the 2yo I've been using previously (not the one I bought with the camera, but one my brother bought from a store) and that's something I didn't expect...
As it happened the first time, I thought is new so I gave it another go... Ant then another one... For almost 3 months now.
Maybe it was something wrong with my unit, Idk, but it definitely wasn't worth the money, because especially considering the price, I expected a much better quality.
If I knew, I would've bought one at half the price.
Is it worth £54.99? A bit pricey but yes
Would I buy again? Yes, definitely if price drops
Hope this helps.
Was habe ich daraus gelernt?

Coming to battery :
- I compared all the labeling and label printing quality on the battery with my original battery provided by camera. Everything looked okay.
- I did video recording on my D5300 camera with the old battery for about 100 minutes, battery was not completely drained by then, but battery indicator turned red. Then I did the video recording with new battery which also gave me 100 minutes of video recording battery indicator turned red by then.
Conclusion - I couldn't find anyway to verify the authenticity of the product, but yeah !! it's seems very much genuine to me.
Was out shooting for 3-4 hours solid and still had a full battery..
You'll need to charge it, use it, and recharge it to get the normal usage out of it (the same length of use as with the supplied camera battery). The first use, like with any rechargeable battery, is going to be slight less long lived than subsequent charges.
Being an authentic part it of course fits perfectly.
Nice to have a spare battery in the bag for those exceptional days where one takes an exceptionally high number RAW pictures and movies! (I have a Nikon D3300 which of course does both, and movies are of course the real battery drainers although one can get hours of movies on a single battery).
Highly recommended addition to the camera bag!
So very recommended, as so these days are expensive and especially of quality of these type of Batteries, as well as of the many fake batteries on the market too, as these batteries have a very good long life...
Also great Rapid-Fast Dispatch from the seller, so another recommendable thing of a buying from a trustworthy seller, which is sometimes rare for a decent seller too...
Aside from that, you should always have at least one of these spare, possibly more depending on how long you think you'll be going between charges.
When you start taking pictures, as with any hobby, you get a bit carried away.. You only realize you have taken a hundred odd pictures when you battery starts going.
And extra battery is strongly recommended.
Looks genuine, and works fine with my Nikon D3400
Who knows what the future will hold? But so far I'm very happy with my purchase - it's passed the first hurdle!
