My first Zelda was "A link to the past" and it will always hold a special place in my heart. So seeing how this takes place in the same world with its soundtrack and items based off that is wonderful. It is also great to see the world in modern graphics with 3S to boot. The wall merging adds a serious extra element to puzzle solving but not so much as to be too difficult. The new system of renting or buying items is very interesting and I do like it as if you have trouble with a certain dungeon or boss you can just go do some others to get your hearts up ect. The characters are funny and the game still has the charm of the original. Plus having a wallet that can hold 9999 rupees in from the start is great. Also quick equip is very handy too. All in all I wish I had gotten this sooner as I've been glued to it since it arrived lol
I am obsessed. Love this game. Its so adorable. From the way it is animated to the music and sound effects... it's just so cute. I like the fact it has puzzles within that can be a challenge but i also love how the controls are really easy to follow as i have struggled with difficult combos in the past (playing other games) and having to remember which button does what, but it's explained well and really easy to follow. So made up i bought this.
Zelda games to me have always been about exploration, crafty dungeons, cool gadgets & weapons and very fun boss fights. This game has it all and a very solid story. I really enjoy the world link aspect as well as the twists this story has. It is a very well made game and I wish they made more games like this
Simpler than other Zelda games on the DS but still had me addicted. The ability to insert into walls adds a refreshing dynamic to the gameplay. Overall, a worthwhile game that's easy but rewarding to play.
This is a great Zelda game and will appeal to those who enjoyed A Link to the Past on SNES. Graphically the game looks nice but being a 3DS game don’t expect anything too impressive. Gameplay is typical Zelda with some new innovative ideas.
Loved this game. A huge nod to the 2D era of Zelda with a 3D twist. Couldn’t put it down until I’d completed it. Great value for money at the price Nintendo Selects offers. You won’t get the hours you get on other Zelda games but it was very playable.
Other then it being fairly easy (going through hero mode now so subject to change), a phenomenal Zelda experience that harkens back to the days of the SNES. Very good looking and full of charm and wit. One of my favourite games and a worthwhile addition to the 3DS
