I bought this for my 7-year-old son. It is a truly awesome game, the variety of levels, the different types of play with different characters. There is something greatly satisfying about going Hypernova and inhaling a huge tree. This game will take a long time to get through because it is so vast as opposed to being very difficult. It still requires some thinking but not the kind of puzzles that stop you in your tracks.

I looked at a walkthrough on Youtube when we were stuck on something near the beginning and the walkthrough video was over 4 hours and that's if you know exactly what you are doing and just power through. I think we have more like 100 hours of playing ahead of us. Great

kirby is the most underated character in nintendos line up and thus gems like this game get overlooked easily

not only is kirby cute he absorbs abilitys to what enemys he eats this game is a platform game similar to mario and sonic.

the game in general is colourful and engaging for young children in the 7-10 and gets the kids thinking in new ways to get to certain items to progress the bosses and fun and engaging and unique

My 7yo was loving the Kirby Wii game but it was so expensive we thought this a great alternative for much less on his DS and he was so pleased, hasn't even asked for the Wii version, his friend got it as well after and they both enjoy comparing achievements etc.
